WIN Training Opportunities 

Webinar: WV School Immunization Requirements for Adolescents
Wednesday, January 18, 2011 at 2pm 

The West Virginia Immunization Network will hold a webinar on January 18, 2012, which will provide detailed information about the school immunization requirements for adolescents that will begin in Fall 2012. This webinar will cover topics such as:
  • History of the requirements;
  • Required vs. recommended vaccines;
  • Health department referrals; and
  • Use of reminder recall systems to inform adolescents about these immunizations.

The webinar will also provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions about the requirements. This webinar is open to all WIN members, healthcare providers, school personnel, and others.

WIN Annual Immunization Summit
June 13-14, 2012 - Charleston Civic Center

The Annual West Virginia Immunization Summit will be an action-oriented event sponsored by the West Virginia Immunization Network (WIN) targeted toward public and private organizations with an interest in addressing and resolving immunization issues in West Virginia. Various sessions at the Summit will be targeted toward healthcare professionals, public health professionals, business leaders, consumers, and others interested in preventing vaccine-preventable diseases. The Annual WV Immunization Summit convenes yearly to coordinate and collaborate in immunization prevention activities throughout our state.
